Can I install custom themes in WHMCS Cloud?
Custom theme uploads are not available at this time. However, WHMCS Cloud comes bundled with the Theme Editor and Translation Manager, allowing you to customize the look and feel of your installation and adapt it to your language preferences.
How do I access SSH or FTP to modify configuration files?
SSH and FTP access are not currently available in WHMCS Cloud to maintain platform security and stability. We’re actively exploring alternative solutions to provide advanced configuration options while preserving the managed experience. This feature is on our development roadmap.
What is Project Management Addon?
The WHMCS Project Management Addon allows you to manage, track, and bill for your projects with task management, messaging, file storage, and more. Assign tasks and track time for all your staff members in one central place, complete with a client portal that gives customers project status, communication, and access to shared files.

Can I install custom modules in WHMCS Cloud?
WHMCS Cloud currently supports pre-approved modules and add-ons from our curated marketplace. This approach ensures enhanced security, stability, and seamless automatic updates without compatibility issues. Custom module support is on our roadmap for future releases.
Can I migrate my existing self-hosted WHMCS to WHMCS Cloud?
Migration from self-hosted to WHMCS Cloud is not available at this time. However, we recognize this is a critical need and are actively developing migration tools and services. Migration support is on our roadmap for future releases.
What counts as an Active Client?
An Active Client is defined as any client with at least one active product, service, addon or domain.
What does host on your own server mean?
All of our licenses allow you to download and install WHMCS in your own hosting environment.

What happens if I exceed my client limit?
We’ll notify you when that happens and unless you opt-out, we’ll upgrade you automatically for uninterrupted operation.
Can I use the Business tier with less than 1000 clients?
Yes. You may wish to sign up for a Business license to access Live Chat & Priority Support.
What is Email Support?
Standard support is provided via email and ticket, and is available to all WHMCS license holders 24 hours a day.
Do you offer Live Chat Support?
Technical Live Chat Support is available to Business tier license holders.
What is Priority Support?
Priority Support is a ticket fast-track service. Priority tickets receive an initial response time of under 60 minutes and prioritized follow-ups through to resolution.
* Priority Support is available during core business hours for an additional per-ticket fee.
